We were contracted to build Talentito as a straightforward directory of vetted developers and designers. Our role was to translate the core business need – speeding up talent discovery – into a lean product roadmap and feature set focused on real portfolio work rather than resumes.
In practice, that meant:
Defining a minimal viable product that surfaced key profile details (verified work history, portfolio links, hourly/project rates, client ratings) without overwhelming users.
Designing search and filter functionality so hiring managers could quickly narrow candidates by tech stack, design specialty, experience level, timezone, rate, and availability.
Architecting an in‑platform engagement workflow (messaging, calendar booking, interview scheduling) to eliminate manual coordination and reduce time‑to‑first-contact.
Integrating with common hiring tools (ATS systems, Slack) to slot Talentito seamlessly into existing recruiting processes.
Establishing pricing structures (subscription versus pay‑per‑hire) and quality controls (ongoing profile reviews, performance feedback loops) to maintain a reliable talent pool.
Talentito eventually offered companies a no‑nonsense way to skip job postings, cut through recruiter noise, and connect directly with pre‑screened technical and design talent.
