Pomma - Consultant
2018
Web App
Pomma was a digital platform designed to address the fragmented, opaque, and often inaccessible nature of maternity care in the U.S. By shifting focus away from hospital‑based services, Pomma connects families directly with vetted out‑of‑hospital caregivers (midwives, lactation consultants, doulas, therapists) via a marketplace and a suite of SaaS‑style intake and scheduling forms.

Project Scope & Objectives
Validate product–market fit for a provider‑centric marketplace and care‑coordination tool
Build a lightweight MVP that surfaces caregiver profiles, manages intake workflows, and captures pricing transparently
Approach
Mapped core user flows in Figma – including sign‑up, profile creation, and provider search – and iterated based on early user interviews
Developed a lead‑generation scraper (UML provided) to compile contact information for ~50,000 maternity care providers, forming the foundation of Pomma’s supply pipeline
Deliverables
A prioritized product roadmap and technical spec document outlining backend architecture, database schema, and HIPAA‑compliant security requirements
Completed Figma prototype covering the first three user journeys (provider sign‑up, family onboarding, booking workflow)
Launch MVP with 50 active providers and 100 consumer sign‑ups within 12 weeks
Measure CAC < $10 (leveraging scraper data), time to first booking, and provider activation rate (>60%) to validate core value proposition
